You can also tick "design it for me" on any product order and we will design the artwork for that item. Either way, we send a digital proof for your approval, and nothing goes to print until you are happy. Design work is for print products only; it is set up to our artwork guidelines so it prints cleanly.

What to send with your brief
A clear brief saves time. Include your logo in the highest quality you have, the exact wording, any photos you want used, your brand colours, sizes and quantities, and examples of designs you like. Check spelling before you send: once you approve the proof, you are responsible for its content.
Design that suits the product
Designing for print is different from designing for a screen. A business card needs small text to stay legible, a pull-up banner needs the key message at eye level and the bottom kept clear of the stand, and a T-shirt print needs bold shapes that read from across a room. We set files up at the right size, with 3 mm bleed on printed items and the correct colour settings, so the proof you approve is the job we print.
For campaigns and events, we can design a matching set: posters, flyers, banners and T-shirts that share the same look. Combine them on one order or upload your list for a single quote.
Design on rush orders
Design adds time before printing can start. If you need same-day printing, approved press-ready artwork must be in by 09:00, so jobs needing design usually suit 24-hour printing or a standard turnaround. Tell us your deadline and we will advise.

How much does design cost?

Will I see the design before printing?
Yes. We send a digital proof for your approval. You can request changes before you approve. Once you approve the proof, it goes into production and you are responsible for its content.
Can you use my existing logo?
Yes. Send the highest-quality version you have, ideally a vector file such as AI, EPS, SVG or PDF. If you only have a low-resolution image, we can redraw it for print as part of the design work.
Can design be done for same-day printing?
Same-day needs approved press-ready artwork by 09:00, so design and same-day rarely fit together. Simple jobs may be possible on 24-hour or standard turnaround. Tell us your deadline when you order.
How many changes can I make to a design?
Send your changes in reply to the proof and we update it. Clear, complete feedback in one go keeps the job moving. If the brief changes substantially after work has started, we will let you know before doing extra work that affects the price.
