For a small brand, the label is the product's face on the shelf. Home bakers, sauce makers, honey producers, cosmetic and skincare brands, candle makers, cleaning-product suppliers and craft drinks producers all need labels that look good and stay put. Request a quote with your sizes, quantities and artwork using the form on this page, and we will email a formal quote back.
Product labels are quoted because each one depends on the container, material and finish. If you have several products or flavours, send the list through upload your list and we will quote every variant together. Turnaround is confirmed on your quote. Your quote arrives by email with Accept online and pay buttons, and accepting it creates the invoice.
What we need to quote
Measure the space on the container where the label will sit, then tell us:
- Label size and shape
- Number of designs (flavours, scents or sizes)
- Quantity per design
- Container type and whether it gets wet, chilled or oily
- Paper or vinyl preference
- Your artwork, or a request for design
Label content
Product labels often need more than a logo: product name, size or weight, ingredients, directions, a best-before area, a barcode and your contact details. Food, cosmetic and other regulated products may have specific labelling rules, so check what applies to you; we print the content you supply, and once you approve the proof, it is your responsibility. Leave a blank area if you plan to write batch numbers or dates by hand.
Design and proofs
Our design services team can create a label range so every flavour looks part of the same family. If you supply artwork, send PDF, AI, EPS or SVG with 3 mm bleed. We send a digital proof before production. For simple logo stickers to seal bags and boxes, our labels and stickers calculator gives an instant price, and vinyl stickers suit tougher conditions.
Collection and delivery
Collection from our Rivonia store is free. Delivery is free within 15 km of the store, and the checkout checks your address. Further afield, we courier nationwide through The Courier Guy, Pudo lockers, PostNet, Aramex or Paxi, priced at checkout by parcel weight. Business customers can reorder labels from their portal when stock runs low.
Common questions
Can I print different flavours in one order?
Yes. Send the list of designs and quantities for each, and we quote them together. Each design gets its own proof so you can check names and ingredients before printing.
Will the labels survive the fridge?
Tell us how the product is stored and handled, for example chilled, frozen or exposed to oil or water. We will suggest a suitable material on your quote, as some labels hold up better in damp conditions.
Can you add a barcode?
Yes, if you supply the barcode number or file. Barcodes must be printed at a readable size with good contrast, so check it on the proof and test a sample before running large quantities.
Do you design product labels?
Yes. Share your brand, product details and any regulatory text, and our design team will create the label. Design work is priced on our Design Services page, and you approve a proof before production.
Why is there no instant price for product labels?
Product labels vary in size, shape, material and the number of designs, so a quote gives a more accurate price. For simple stickers, our Labels and Stickers page has an instant calculator.
