Measuring your windows
Measure the visible glass of each pane, inside the frame, in millimetres. Note whether the graphic goes on the inside or outside of the glass, as that affects how the artwork is printed. A quick phone photo of the shopfront helps us understand the layout. Send everything with your quote request, or use upload your list for multiple panes.
Design that works on glass
Window graphics are viewed from the street, so use large images and short messages. Keep key text at eye level and away from frame edges. Remember that light behind the glass changes how colours look in the evening. Send PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or high-res PNG/JPG files at the window's proportions, with 3 mm bleed. What is one-way vision?
One-way vision is a perforated window film. From outside, people see your printed graphic. From inside, you can still see out through the tiny holes. It is popular for shopfronts, offices and vehicle rear windows.
Can window graphics be removed?
Yes. Window vinyl is designed to be removed when your promotion ends or you change your branding. On glass it usually peels off cleanly, which makes it ideal for seasonal and short-term campaigns.
Should the graphic go inside or outside the window?
Inside application protects the graphic from weather and vandalism, while outside application avoids reflections. Tell us your preference and we will print the artwork the right way round for the side it will be fitted on.
Can I order graphics for several stores?
Yes. Send a list of stores and window sizes on the Upload Your List page and we will quote the whole rollout. Business customers can then reorder future campaigns from their portal with the same sizes.
