Cut vinyl lettering is made by cutting your text or logo out of coloured adhesive vinyl, removing the background and leaving only the letters. Applied to a surface, it looks painted on, with no visible sticker edge. It is ideal for shop windows, trading hours, office doors, vehicle doors, signboards, reception walls and short slogans where you want clean lines in one or two colours.
Vinyl lettering is quoted to your wording, size and colour. Request a quote with your quantity and artwork using the form on this page, or upload your list if you have several doors, windows or vehicles to letter. Your quote is emailed with Accept online and pay buttons, and accepting it creates the invoice so we can send a digital proof.

Cut vinyl or printed vinyl?
Cut vinyl suits solid-colour text and simple logos. It cannot reproduce photos or gradients, because each colour is cut separately. If your design is full colour, we will quote printed vinyl instead, used for window graphics, wall graphics and vehicle branding. If you are unsure, send your artwork and we will recommend the right method.
Artwork for cutting
Vinyl is cut from vector paths, so a PDF, AI, EPS or SVG file is ideal. Very fine strokes and tiny text are difficult to cut and weed, so keep letters at a readable size. Tell us the surface, the colour of the vinyl you want and the final width or height. Our design services team can convert a logo to vector if needed.
Ordering and application
Lettering is supplied with application tape so it can be positioned and pressed onto the surface. Tell us on your quote request if you would like us to apply it. Turnaround is confirmed on your quote. Collect free in Rivonia, get free delivery within 15 km of the store, or courier your lettering nationwide.
Common questions
Can I apply vinyl lettering myself?
Yes. Lettering comes on application tape so it can be lined up and pressed onto a clean, smooth surface. Small jobs are easy to apply yourself. For large windows or vehicles, tell us on your quote request if you would like application quoted.
What colours are available?
Cut vinyl is available in a wide range of solid colours, including black, white and metallic tones. Tell us the colour you want, or your brand colours, on the quote form and we will match as closely as the vinyl range allows.
Can vinyl lettering be removed later?
Yes. Vinyl can be peeled off when you change your wording or move premises. On glass it usually comes off cleanly. On painted walls, removal can affect the paint, so test a small area first.
Can you cut my logo in vinyl?
Yes, if it is mostly solid colours. Send a vector version of your logo and we will check it. Logos with photos, shadows or gradients are better produced as printed vinyl, which we can also quote.
How do I pay for my lettering?
Accept your emailed quote online and pay by card or instant EFT through PayFast or Yoco. Accepting the quote creates your invoice. Business customers can also view quotes, invoices and statements, and reorder, from their portal.
