A media wall is the branded background behind speakers, guests and red-carpet photos. A repeating pattern of logos means your brand appears in every picture, whether it is shot close up or from across the room. Backdrops are used at product launches, conferences, awards evenings, press briefings, church conferences, school prize-givings, matric farewells and weddings.
Media walls are quoted to size. Request a quote with your quantity and artwork using the form on this page, or upload your list if your event needs a full set of signage. Your quote is emailed with Accept online and pay buttons, and once you accept it the invoice is created and we prepare your proof.
Backdrop formats
Let us know how your backdrop will be set up and we will quote the format that suits your venue.
- Printed banner on a portable frame
- PVC banner with eyelets for an existing structure
- Fabric backdrops for a smooth, low-glare finish
- Step-and-repeat logo patterns or full custom scenes
Designing for the camera
Logos on a step-and-repeat should be large enough to read behind a person's head and spaced so that at least one full logo shows in a tight photo. Avoid busy detail at face height, which can distract from the people in the picture. Send logo files in PDF, AI, EPS or SVG so they stay sharp at large sizes. Our design services team can arrange sponsor logos into a clean pattern for you.
Timing your order
Media walls are quoted products and turnaround is confirmed on your quote, so include your event date in the request. Proofs are sent digitally for approval before anything is printed. Please check sponsor names, dates and logos carefully, because the spelling on an approved proof is what will be printed. If you are still waiting on a sponsor logo, tell us and we will hold the layout until it arrives. Collect free in Rivonia, choose free delivery within 15 km of our store, or courier the backdrop to your venue anywhere in South Africa.
Supporting event signage
Most events need more than one backdrop. Add pull-up banners at registration, floor graphics to guide guests, and printed name badges on lanyards. For weddings and private functions, see our weddings page for matching stationery and décor prints.
Common questions
What size media wall do I need?
It depends on how many people will stand in front of it and the space at your venue. Tell us the width and height available and how the backdrop will be used, and we will quote a size that fits your space.
Can you add several sponsor logos?
Yes. Send each sponsor logo, preferably as a vector file, and tell us which ones need more prominence. Our designers can arrange them in a balanced step-and-repeat pattern, and you approve a proof before printing.
Can I reuse the frame for future events?
Yes. Portable frames are built to be reused. For your next event, order a new print for the same frame size and simply swap it over. Business customers can reorder from their portal.
Can the backdrop be delivered to my venue?
Yes. We courier nationwide through The Courier Guy, Aramex and others, priced at checkout by parcel weight. Delivery is free within 15 km of our Rivonia store, and collection there is always free.
