Choosing the right photo
Canvas shows detail, so start with the largest, sharpest version of your photo. Images saved from social media or messaging apps are often compressed and may look soft when enlarged. Check that the subject is in focus and well lit. Part of the image wraps around the edge of the frame, so keep faces and important details away from the outer edge. We show the crop on the digital proof before printing.
Canvas for businesses
Offices, clinics, salons and restaurants use canvas prints for wall art, brand values and product imagery. For large wall coverage, see wall graphics; for events and photo areas, media walls and backdrops. For paper prints at large sizes, see large posters A0 and A1. Canvas also makes a thoughtful corporate gift.
Collection and delivery
Collection from our Rivonia store is free. Delivery is free within 15 km of the store, and the checkout checks your address. Further afield, we courier nationwide through The Courier Guy, Pudo lockers, PostNet, Aramex or Paxi, priced at checkout by parcel weight.
Common questions
Can I print a phone photo on canvas?
Often, yes, especially from recent phones in good light. Upload the original file rather than one sent through a messaging app, which compresses images. We check the resolution and show the result on your proof.
Can you make a collage on one canvas?
Yes. Upload several photos and tick "design it for me", or price the layout on our Design Services page. We arrange them and send a digital proof so you can approve or ask for changes.
Will the colours match my screen?
Colours on screen and in print can differ slightly, because screens give off light and canvas reflects it. Very dark or very bright photos are most affected. We print the image as supplied, so adjust it beforehand if needed.
Can I add text, such as names and dates?
Yes. Tell us the wording and we add it as part of the design. Check spelling carefully on the proof, as you are responsible for the content once you approve it.
Can I order several canvases for an office?
Yes. Use the calculator for each size, or request a formal quote for the full set. Business customers get a portal with quotes, invoices, statements and reorders. Mixed sizes can be quoted together.
