A postcard is small enough to post, slip into a parcel or hand over at a counter, but sturdy enough to feel like something worth keeping. Online shops use them as thank-you notes and discount cards, artists and photographers sell them as prints, venues and festivals use them as event reminders, and businesses use them for direct-mail offers. Request a quote with your quantity and artwork using the form on this page.
Postcards are usually printed in full colour on thicker card, with a picture side and a message side. Turnaround depends on the size, card and finish and is confirmed on your quote. Your quote arrives by email with Accept online and pay buttons, and accepting it creates the invoice. Several items can be quoted together in one request.
Ways to use postcards
A postcard does more than say hello. Popular uses include:
- Thank-you cards and discount codes in online orders
- Save-the-date cards for events and weddings
- Direct-mail offers to existing customers
- Art and photography prints for sale
- Appointment reminders for salons and clinics
- Product care instructions in packaging
Designing both sides
Give the picture side one strong image or message and keep text to a minimum. Use the reverse for detail: your offer, a short note, a QR code, your contact details and, if it will be posted, space for an address. Add 3 mm bleed and supply PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or high-resolution PNG or JPG. Our design services team can create the card from your photos or brand, and you approve a digital proof before production.

Common questions
What size are your postcards?
A6 is the most common postcard size, but we can quote other sizes too. Tell us the size you want in the quote form, or describe how you will use the card and we will suggest a suitable format.
Can I print a different design on each card?
Yes. Many artists and photographers order sets with several designs. Tell us how many designs and how many of each, and we will quote the set and send a proof of every design.
Can I post the cards through the mail?
Yes. Leave space on the back for the address and stamp, and keep it clear of heavy design. If you prefer them sealed, we can also quote matching envelopes in the same order.
How long does postcard printing take?
It depends on the size, card and quantity, so turnaround is confirmed on your quote. If you need them for a launch or event, include the date in your request and we will advise what is achievable.
Do you design postcards?
Yes. Send your photos, logo and wording, and our design team will lay out both sides. Design is priced on our Design Services page, and you approve a digital proof before anything is printed.
