Planning a funeral leaves families with little time and many decisions. The programme, the photographs and the memorial shirts are often finalised only days before the service, and they need to be right. Rush My Prints works with families, funeral homes and churches to produce memorial printing quickly, with a proof to check before anything goes to print so names, dates and hymns are correct.
Booklets, posters, canvas prints and T-shirts have an instant price calculator, so you can see the price excl. VAT, upload your files and pay online without waiting. If you would rather send everything at once — including a photo of a handwritten list — use upload your list and we will quote the full order together.
What families usually need
Most funerals and memorial services draw on a few core items:
- Funeral programmes and orders of service as booklets — see the instant price on the page
- Memorial T-shirts for family members and close friends
- Canvas prints and large posters of the person being remembered
- Pull-up banners or PVC banners for the venue or graveside
- Bookmarks and greeting cards as keepsakes or thank-you cards
- Gazebos for shade at outdoor services
When the service is this week
Booklets, posters, pull-up banners and DTF T-shirts on stock garments can qualify for same-day printing when payment has cleared and approved, press-ready artwork reaches us by 09:00 on a business day. Same-day orders are collected from our Rivonia store. Same-day is a priority attempt rather than a guarantee, so please send files as early as you can. 24-hour printing is available on many products, confirmed at checkout or on your quote.
Memorial T-shirts
Memorial shirts usually carry a photograph, the person's name and their dates. Orders start at 10 shirts, printed with DTF in full colour for 10 to 999 shirts, so photographs reproduce well. Cotton tees come in 160, 180, 250 and 300gsm, and you can print on the front, back, left chest or sleeves. See same-day T-shirts if the shirts are needed urgently.
Help with the programme layout
If you have the photographs, the obituary and the order of service but no one to put them together, our design services can lay out the programme for you, priced on the page calculator. You can also tick "design it for me" when ordering a product. You will receive a digital proof to approve; once approved, the family is responsible for spelling, so please ask a second person to read it through.
Tombstone unveilings and memorial services
Unveilings and memorial gatherings often follow months later and need a smaller programme, a banner and sometimes a second run of shirts. If you ordered with us before, the artwork can be adapted for the new event, which saves time when the family is gathering again.
Common questions
How many pages should a funeral programme have?
Most programmes are 8, 12 or 16 pages, depending on the order of service, tributes and photographs. The booklet calculator lets you compare page counts and quantities. If you are unsure, send your content and we will suggest a layout when we proof.
What photos work best for printing?
Use the largest, clearest original you have. Photos taken from phones are usually fine when sent as the original file rather than via messaging apps, which reduce quality. A scanned print also works well. We will flag any image that looks too small on the proof.
Can someone else collect the order?
Yes. Same-day orders are collection only from our Rivonia store, and a family member or friend can collect with the order number. Standard orders can also be delivered — free within 15 km of the store where the checkout confirms the address, or by courier nationwide.
Do funeral homes have accounts?
Funeral homes and churches can use a business portal with quotes, invoices, statements and reorders. Quotes are emailed with Accept online and pay buttons, and accepting the quote creates the invoice, which keeps billing to families straightforward.
